That's great news Mandi! We all appreciate the time you take out to update the site, as we all know it's a lot of work. Hope all is well with you guys now at Apple Towers.
If you need me for some reviews, lemme know. I've recently watched "Thirst" so maybe I can have a go at that. Then there's the last batch of remakes that were released ("The Uninvited", "One Missed Call" :shudder:, "The Echo") that I can have a crack at if no one wants them. And then there's "Love Exposure", but I don't really know if that should make it on the site? We loves our Sono Sion, but is it "extreme" enough?

Thank you so much for the offer Larry - you're an angel, you know ILU It would be so awesome if you could review Thirst or the remakes, as far as I know Alex is already working on Love Exposure, but anything else you can give us would be so fabby
I intend to jump back into the fire with Retribution, 300 years after everyone else has seen it, but we never made any pretence of keeping up with the finger-on-the-pulse sites, and we ain't about to start now

Des bonnes nouvelles! I have spent all day setting Tyler's purely-and-simply super awesome hilarious review of The Eye 10 and also his review of Death Note: The Last Name - thank you so, so much, Tyler! I cannot wait to get these up and sorted out - I'm just waiting on Alex fiddling with the pics now, so hopefully we should be updated by the weekend! I'm nearly crying tears of pure joy at getting updates

Annnnnd some more good news! Hopefully we should soon have a brand-new reviewer here (just finalising some details with him) - more on that as we have it!
And also I've started (finally!) writing my Retribution review, so hopefully that should be up within the next 1-2 weeks or so

Make that two brand-new reviewers, folks - Derek Vasconi, and our own uzumockery! Welcome both of you to the team!
In even more exciting news, Tyler has sent us his finished review of L: Save The World, which we'll be getting ready for upload within the next week or so. Thank you so so much, Tyler!

Don't worry folks, we've not dropped off the face of the planet - Tyler's review is all ready to go save the pics, which Alex *POKEPOKEPOKE* has to finish doing the pics for! It will be done ASAP, I promise - we're just living in utter chaos right now with half a kitchen, half an old kitchen, and a major building site, where bits of our house used to be
This pic is of the building site that used to be my kitchen, once upon a time We are having a bit of a time of it, right now

Hello!!! I'm new here and i would like to suggest a bit more reviews in the near future (it has been a while since the last one, but it's ok,i can wait), but also, i would love too see more reviews about asian extreme cinema outside Japan. I readm most of them and noticed the vast majority of them were japanese. My favourites are the koreans, and there are a lot of good korean horror/thriller films that could be reviewed here. (Thirst,Epitaph,Wishing Stairs,The Red Shoes,Living Death, etc). I do not care if they'll be positive or negative, everyone has different opinions, i just want to see them in the near future. Otherwise, i would love to praise the snowblood apple team for the excellent job with the forums and the funny,well-done reviews.

We must have read your mind AcaciaTree, since thanks to Tyler, there are two new reviews up now, and one of them is a Korean movie Thanks for the appreciation too! It's always nice to hear that people still like our stuff
As for future reviews, welllll... to be honest, I'm well behind on Korean cinema (here read: about 8 years behind ) but I know our Tyler is big on it, so there may be incoming reviews of Korean movies from him...
Alex is working hard on Love Exposure (it's the summer holidays, and theoretically this means we get a bit of time to sit down and do site stuff) so hopefully that should be along fairly soon

Love Exposure is a scream - but I haven't reached the end of it yet (it is very very long).

Just a suggestion for future reviews: please, do not review any asian horror remake anymore. In the beggining, i used to like them, but now i realize they are nothing but a way to get easy money without having to be creative. These movies are not asian; therefore, they do not need to be on the website. I think it's better to stick with asian films only, from now on. By the way, how are the next reviews going?
